We are thinking of useing railroad ties for landscaping. My question is this. Will it harm my dogs?

We have 4 small dogs. 1 undser 3 pounds. 1 under 15 pounds and 2 between 15 to 20 pounds. I see the creosote on the railroad ties and am nervous to use them. I am looking for an answer that has proof one way or the other. I have tried ASPCA but thier site doesn’t talk about it. Any help on this would be so helpful. Thanks

How do you control weeds by railroad tracks?

Ok, I live right next to an active Rail Road track. Trains zip past at about 50+MPH. Our garden sits right next to the track. We till each spring and apply preen, yet the weeds are out of control. Usually by June we give up and hope for the best. Any suggestions on how to make this more manageable?

Thank you.
I think that the train kicks up the pollen from the weeds. I have had gardens in other homes and never weeds as thick as here.
